Sunday, 8 May. 17:00 CET. Getafe CF and R. Sporting, two teams in the thick of the relegation battle, will face off at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez in a match they will be treating like a cup final.
With emotions running high, the fans will play a decisive role in the game as they offer up all of their passion and root for their teams. So we decided to talk to the president of Getafe's and Sporting's supporters' clubs federations to find out how they are feeling heading into the game and what their plans are.

"There's nervousness, there's excitement… There's a bit of everything! You have to get the job done in the penultimate game; you have to play your heart out. I don't think even a Champions League final can compare to what Getafe and Sporting fans are about to experience," assures Angel Reguillo, the head of the Getafe Supporters' Clubs Federation. "We'll be there for the team's arrival and then we'll cheer them on and give our all for the crest," he adds.
His counterpart with the Sporting Supporters' Clubs Federation, Jorge Guerrero, is well aware of what this match means to the fans of the Asturian outfit: "About 5,000 fans are travelling. We're in really good spirits and we can't wait for Sunday to come around so we can get behind our lads. We need to win, win, win."
Both sets of fans will be showing their support hours before the game, but things will really ramp up when the referee blows his whistle. "We go to bat for the players every day, like we did against Valencia CF, and this won't be any different. Two hundred warriors went to Riazor and they sang throughout the entire game," is the word from Getafe. "The support of our fans is really important, especially for our lads. They're going to be giving everything out on the pitch, and feeling and seeing us constantly driving them forward will give them a lift," is the word from Gijon.

Regardless of the result, both sets of fans will be seeking a friendly atmosphere where sportsmanship rules supreme. "It's going to be nice to see both groups of fans cheering on their teams. Each of them defends their crest and I hope it's a nice game for both of them," says Reguillo. Guerrero also shares the same view, as well as adding, "La Mareona have always supported their team in style."
Finally, we could hardly do without the desires and predictions of the two presidents. Whilst Reguillo hopes that Getafe "come racing out of the blocks" and grab "a 3-1" victory, Guerrero has no doubt that Sporting "will win, whatever happens."
