Ninety minutes separate Real Madrid CF from the dream of reaching the UEFA Champions League final. The side from the capital won the first leg against FC Bayern München 1-0 thanks to a goal from Karim Benzema.
Now they have to visit the Allianz Arena, where Carlo Ancelotti’s team are looking to put the tie to bed and seal their passage to the final on the 24th of May in Lisbon. For the match Ancelotti will have to make do without Álvaro Arbeloa, Sami Khedira and Jesé Rodríguez. Above all, the Italian coach is approaching the vital game with caution: "The match is very difficult and complicated. We’re playing a very big team, we go into it with a very small advantage from the first leg and we have to enjoy it".
Bayern will not make things easy for them. The Bavarian side believes it can make a comeback to reach the final of Europe’s most prestigious competition, according to Pep Guardiola, who asked the fans to get behind his team. "I’m sure the fans will be with us", said the Spanish coach. "We can reach the final, the team wants it, I want it, the fans want it… together we can do it".
