Nine Spanish coaches take part in the Chinese Youth Football Winter Camp

Starting on 4 February and continuing throughout the rest of this week, nine Spanish coaches from LaLiga will instil 148 selected students and 150 physical education teachers from across the country with LaLiga's work philosophy.

The Chinese Youth Football Winter Camp being held in the city of Kunming was inaugurated by Mr Dengfeng, director of sport, health and art of the Ministry of Education; Mr Guanghu, director of the national football team; and Mr Louzhao, director of social development of the Chinese Football Association.

During the opening ceremony, Mr Dengfeng expressed his gratitude to LaLiga for sending nine of the top coaches from Spain to offer the finest education to the youngsters. "I hope that during the camp all of the children can enjoy the culture of Spanish football, and that all of the teachers can pass on their knowledge and methods during this special opportunity," said the director of sport, health and art of the Ministry of Education.

David Campaña, the sports projects coordinator in China, explained that "the training programme designed by LaLiga for this camp aims for all of the schoolchildren to be able to demonstrate their technical, tactical, physical and psychological potential so that they can develop their skill level."
