Miroslav Djukić named as new Córdoba boss

Shortly after announcing Albert Ferrer’s departure, Córdoba CF have named Serb Miroslav Djukić as their new boss. The Balkan manager will join the side tomorrow on a contract that runs until the end of the season.

Djukić knows Spanish football well having spent time during his playing career here. As a coach, he has taken charge of Hércules CF, R. Valladolid CF and Valencia CF, all in Liga BBVA.

He achieved promotion with Valladolid in 2011/12, playing some excellent football. During his time as a coach in Spain, Djukić has experienced 42 victories, 28 draws and 35 defeats.
