UD Las Palmas announced on Monday that Manolo Márquez will step up from the youth team to take charge of first team affairs for the new LaLiga Santander season. After guiding Las Palmas Atletico to a historic promotion to the Segunda Division B (third tier of Spanish football), Marquez replaces Quique Setien, who departed at the end of last season.
