Malaga, first team to begin the season

Malaga CF already has its sights set on La Liga BBVA 2015/16. The blue-and-white players returned from their holidays this Wednesday, July 1st, to begin preparation for a new exciting season in the best league in the world.

The stadium Ciudad de Malaga witnessed the return of the Andalucian squad. There, first thing in the morning, the players took their medicals and performed a series of fitness tests by groups.

The coach had only six absences, including the international members, Guillermo Ochoa, Ricardo Horta, Nourredine Amrabat, Egor Filipenko, Roberto Chen and Roberto Rosales. Meanwhile, nine players from the youth team were the great novelty: Aaron, Pol, Ivan, Calero, Pablo, Rafa, Kuki, Rufo and Ontivero.

Weligton: "I hope we can enjoy a great season" 

The captain of the white-and-blue, Weligton Oliviera, faced the media on the first day of the pre-season to share his impressions for upcoming the season.

"We are going to try, starting today, to do our best for this club. Last year we talked about not to get relegated, and in the end we almost got into the UEFA Europa League, so we hope to have a great season this year as well".
