Malaga fine-tune preparations ahead of LaLiga World opener

Malaga FC's preparations ahead of the start of the Aachen Cup 2016, the four-team tournament which kicks off on Sunday in Aachen, Germany under the auspices of LaLiga World, continue apace. After settling into their base in the Dutch city of Vaals, Juande Ramos's charges were greeted by pleasant sunshine as they took to the training field at 10:00 on Saturday morning. 

The light workout, which featured ball work, stretching exercises and tactical drills, took place under the watchful eye of club president, Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani. The players were in good spirits and are visibly eager for the LaLiga World tournament to get underway, as preparations intensify ahead of the league opener against At. Osasuna on 19 August. 

At the end of the session, left winger Jony shared his impressions of the Andalusian outfit's tour: "We're feeling good. This will be the first game for which we're all together. On the back of the training sessions we've had over the last few days we're now looking forward to seeing how we get on in a game situation."
