Luciano Vietto speaks exclusive to LaLiga

Luciano Vietto is enjoying the LFP World Challenge Tour in Australia. Just 21 years old, the Argentinian was one of the revelations of the season, his first in LaLiga. That has meant that many clubs are looking at him to strengthen their attack next season, but the striker is only interested in talking about the Yellow Submarine. “People have been saying many things, but my head is only focused on Villarreal,”said the youngster.

After scoring 13 goals in the Liga BBVA and becoming the reference point in Villarreal’s attack, Vietto has enjoyed being involved in the LFP World Challenge project, “above all because it helps promote LaLiga and helps its growth”.

"Lucho" is a new arrival in Spain but with the help of his team-mates he has adapted to his new team very quickly: “When you arrive to a new place everything is a little strange, but with the help of my team-mates everything has been easier and I was able to adapt very quickly,”he said. “It’s incredible, we all pitch in, there are no bad feelings, everyone is very nice in person and that’s important in order to form a good group.”

Thanks to this union, the Yellow Submarine will navigate in the UEFA Europa League next season. “That was the objective we set for ourselves at the start of the season and luckily we had a great season, in Europe and in LaLiga, and we are very happy about that,”added Vietto. “We hope we can improve next season.”
