Match Facts:
Atletico (1st, 15 pts)
- After clinching top spot in the matchday prior to the international break, the Rojiblancos will be going all out for victory here, as they look to remain in charge of their own destiny at the summit of the LaLiga Santander table.
-It's top v bottom at the Calderon as Atleti - who have four wins and three draws to their name, 14 goals for and two against - look to overcome a Granada side who have succumbed to five defeats so far this term and have netted seven goals and conceded 16.
Granada (20th, 2 pts)
- Following on from Paco Jemez's sacking, there'll be a new face in the visitors' dugout for this one, as Lucas Alcaraz begins his third stint in the Granada hotseat. The new boss couldn't have been handed a much tougher starter than a trip to the league leaders and he'll be hoping to get his reign off to a flyer as he looks for his ideas to take root.
- We have to go all the way back to the 1974/75 season for the last time that a Granada side have taken anything from the Calderon, with the Andalusians picking up a point on that particular occasion.
