To mark the start of the new LaLiga Santander season, the official LaLiga app has been upgraded with the release of a Statistics section. This latest version allows users to keep their finger on the pulse when it comes to all of the stats across the matchday action, whilst also enabling fans to follow the progress of individual LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 players.
Users can access this new data by simply selecting the 'Statistics' tab within each game, where they will be able to find a whole range of match stats, including possession percentages, shots, shots on target, blocked shots, free-kicks, corners, offsides, throw-ins, saves, fouls, as well as the yellow and red cards to have been shown in a given match.
These statistics can also be viewed by team, allowing users to compare a particular side's performance with the average from across the division. In addition, player-specific stats are available in the Squad section of the app, where users can discover how a particular player is faring in terms of goals scored and conceded, assists, shots, blocks, offsides, fouls committed and suffered, bookings, completed passes and total number of passes.
In addition to these updates, the design of the official LaLiga app has also received a makeover for the 2017/18 season, with the app's interface being brought in line with the graphics used in LaLiga's television broadcasts.
