LaLiga & the Portuguese Football Federation meet in Lisbon to discuss the state of the European game

This Thursday, 16 March, saw Fernando Gomes, the president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), meet with LaLiga chief Javier Tebas and the director of the institution's audiovisual department, Melcior Soler, at the FPF's headquarters in Lisbon.

The aim of the visit was to discuss the current state of the European game and exchange views about the various working areas within the European football industry. In addition, the LaLiga delegation was offered a tour of the Cidade do Futebol complex, which is home to the FPF's headquarters. This facility, which was opened a year ago and several months prior to the staging of the European Championships in France, boasts technical and logistics centres, a stadium, several football pitches and a museum, amongst other amenities.

LaLiga has expressed its thanks for the opportunity to meet with the FPF's president and the treatment bestowed on the institution's representatives during the course of their visit.
