LaLiga & RCD Espanyol make dreams come true for the children of the Fundacion Gol Bolivia

Friday afternoon saw the Fundacion Gol Bolivia (Goal Bolivia Foundation) receive a visit from some very special guests, as members of the RCD Espanyol first-team squad descended on the foundation's Santa Cruz de la Sierra base to meet with children from the various age-group teams who represent one of the city's leading social organisations.

The Blanquiazules' arrival was greeted with great excitement by the youngsters. After the budding footballers had welcomed the players in, a series of ball games were organised, as the young members of the foundation saw their dreams of lining up alongside the LaLiga stars become a reality.

This visit, which goes down as being one of the most special experiences of the Catalans' LaLiga World tour, proved to be immensely rewarding for the squad members, as the players revelled at the opportunity of being able to spend time with the youngsters in a relaxed setting. The event also served to further entrench the outreach activities which both the Catalan club and LaLiga, driven by their social commitment, have been promoting for some time.

Gol Bolivia is a charitable organisation which seeks to guarantee a better future for hundreds of Bolivian children by offering an education based around the values transmitted through sport and football.
