LaLiga meets with Chinese businessmen at the Wanda Metropolitano

The stadium that will host the final, the Wanda Metropolitano, was the scene of this meeting in which the President and Counselor of Atletico Madrid, Enrique Cerezo and Miguel Ángel Gil respectively, acted as hosts.

Javier Tebas discussed LaLiga's strategy and the challenges facing the football industry today.  Globalization, digital strategy,  and how LaLiga applies AI to optimize audiovisual value, were some of the issues highlighted by the president.

LaLiga's strategy for China was also a key topic, especially the cooperation agreements between the Chinese Football Federation (CFA), the Chinese Super League (CSL) and the Ministry of Education of asian countries. Thanks to this collaboration, LaLiga is working on sports projects, training of quarry managers, executives etc. Furthermore, in the city of Kunming, LaLiga will create its first permanent academy in China and will hold a quarry tournament between LaLiga Santander teams and Asian clubs.

The Chinese delegation was formed by Wang Jianlin, president of the Wanda group; Zhang Li, Co President of the R & F Group; Wu Po Sum, President of Central China Real Estate Group; and Zhang Lin, from the Wanda group.
