With the 31st round of LaLiga Santander fixtures now all done and dusted, it's time to reveal the latest LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI, which features representatives from eight different clubs.
The Player of the Matchday honours go to Iago Aspas, who turned in a dazzling 20-point display in which he plundered a hat-trick as RC Celta ran out comprehensive 4-0 winners over Sevilla FC. This treble brings the Galician sharpshooter's tally for the league season to 19.
Taking his place between the Best XI sticks on this occasion is Valencia CF custodian Neto. The Brazilian shotstopper pulled off a string of excellent saves to record a shutout and earn himself 12 points as Los Che edged RCD Espanyol in a 1-0 win.
The lineup's three-man backline features two Real Betis defenders, with Marc Bartra (15 points) and Antonio Barragan (14) turning in impressive performances in the Sevillians' 2-0 victory over SD Eibar. Slotting in alongside the Betis pair are D.Alaves's Victor Laguardia (16), who nodded home a 48th-minute header to set the Basques on their way to a 2-0 triumph over Getafe CF.
The side's engine room is occupied by the following four midfield maestros: CD Leganes's Nabil El Zhar (12), Real Sociedad duo Mikel Oyarzabal (16) and David Zurutuza (12), whilst Celta wideman Pablo Hernandez (18) completes the quartet. Last but not least, joining Aspas in a lethal-looking three-pronged forward line are Lionel Messi (20), who helped himself to the matchball against Leganes, and Iñaki Williams, who was on target in Athletic Club's 3-1 away success over Villarreal CF.
