Following all the excitement of the midweek LaLiga Santander action, it is time to take stock with the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Matchday 30 Best XI. Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is the latest man to claim the Player of the Matchday crown after grabbing a hat-trick and 17 points* in his side's 4-2 win away to CD Leganes.
Granada CF shotstopper Guillermo Ochoa takes the lone place between the sticks following his heroics against RC Deportivo, which involved saving a penalty en route to recording a rare clean sheet and earning himself 14 points in the process. The Mexican is shielded by a three-man defence made up of Oier Sanjurjo (14 points), Filipe Luis (17) and Jose Angel (15).
The midfield features a heady mix of fabulous flair and work ethic, with Carlos Soler (12 points), Beñat (13), Dani Parejo (14) and James Rodriguez (12) lining up across the centre of the park. Last but not least, Lionel Messi (17) and Aritz Aduriz (13) partner the aforementioned Morata in attack.
