LaLiga Santander Matchday 22 served up numerous spectacular goals, not to mention some wonderful individual performances well worthy of a place in the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI. We run through the latest iteration of this star-studded lineup below.
SD Eibar were once more among the headline-makers this past matchday after running out 4-0 winners for the second straight round of fixtures, on this occasion thrashing Granada CF at home to rise up to seventh in the league table. Unsurprisingly, just like a week ago, the Basques again supply several members of the latest Best XI – three, to be precise, headed by Player of the Matchday Pedro Leon, who chipped in with a goal and two assists against the relegation-threatened Andalusians.

Lining up between the sticks is Sevilla FC custodian Sergio Rico, who picked up 12 points for his sensational display away to UD Las Palmas. The young goalkeeper pulled off a string of saves to help his side become the first visiting team to emerge from the Estadio Gran Canaria with victory this term.
Shielding Rico is a five-man defence made up of Eibar's Ivan Ramis (20 points); R. Sporting's Roberto Canella and FC Barcelona's Aleix Vidal (both 14); RC Celta's Gustavo Cabral (13) and a familiar face in Sevilla teammate Gabriel Mercado (also 13).
As the Player of the Matchday, 21-point Pedro Leon is the main man in midfield, where he is accompanied by two other players who were on the scoresheet this weekend: Atletico Madrid's Yannick Carrasco (15) and Villarreal CF's Bruno Soriano (14).
As for the two up front, they found the net four times between them, each bagging a brace. Luis Suarez gets the nod for his 16-point showing for Barça against D. Alaves, while Sergi Enrich (13) – another player who is fast becoming a Best XI regular – partners the Uruguayan after notching up half of Eibar's goals against Granada.
