LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Matchday 15 Best XI

Following a weekend packed with excitement, surprises and brilliant solo performances, it is time to take a look at the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI on Matchday 15 of the competition.

Villarreal CF made the biggest impact on the matchday and are the team with the most players in the Best XI, with a total of four. However, the Player of the Matchday goes to Sevilla FC's Vicente Iborra, who came off the bench and netted a hat-trick to give his team victory over RC Celta. The 20 points earned by the midfielder make him the matchday's top performer.

The goalkeeper of the team of the week is Sevilla's Sergio Rico after his sensational performance against Celta in which he racked up 12 points. He is accompanied at the back by Sergi Roberto (13 points); his teammate Jordi Alba, who provided assists for two of FC Barcelona's three goals against CA Osasuna (18); and Mario, of Villarreal (14).

The midfield lineup is led this week by Vicente Iborra, the Player of the Matchday, and he is joined by three Villarreal players: Jonathan Dos Santos (13), Manu Trigueros (15) and Roberto Soriano (15). They were the authors of the team's three goals against Atletico Madrid, each grabbing one apiece.

Meanwhile, the front line of the week's Best XI is composed of Lionel Messi (18), Willian Jose (14) and Joselu. The Barcelona striker played a key role in his team's win over Osasuna and scored two of his side's three goals. Jose, with a brace, was also one of the architects behind Real Sociedad's victory over Valencia CF. Finally, and despite RC Deportivo's defeat at the hands of Real Madrid, Joselu was one of the outstanding players out on the Santiago Bernabeu pitch, adding two goals to his tally.
