LaLiga and Telecable, an Asturian integrated telecommunications operator, have reached an agreement for the broadcasting of LaLiga 1|2|3 fixtures. This deal – for the screening of 10 games per LaLiga 1|2|3 matchday – means that Telecable will enjoy non-exclusive rights to the channel LaLiga 1|2|3 TV for three seasons, kicking off this coming campaign, 2016/17.
The channel LaLiga 1|2|3 TV, produced by LaLiga, will give viewers the chance to watch matches on an individual basis, while they will also be able to make use of the 'multi-football' option when games overlap. Throughout the weekend, LaLiga 1|2|3 will deliver dedicated LaLiga 1|2|3 coverage, including, among other things, match previews and post-game content, as well as a programme featuring special LaLiga 1|2|3 reports.
Telecable currently holds an 80% share of the pay TV market in Asturias and substantial market shares for broadband Internet (46%), landline telephones (28%) and mobile phone services (14%). The Asturian company has more than 163,000 residential customers and has put together a group of partners in the region specialising in the design and installation of telecommunications networks and equipment, civil construction work and services marketing.
