LaLiga, a breath of fresh air for Ukrainians

LaLiga is one of the most exciting and emotional championships in the world! A footballing spectacle showcasing the best Spanish teams – setting the standard for the whole world, football's trendsetters that the rest try to imitate. La Liga offers the best of both worlds, the best players and the top coaches. LaLiga is a breath of fresh footballing air, like a pleasant sea breeze. It gives joy and strength. It gives pleasure!

LaLiga is very popular in the Ukraine. The FC Barcelona v Real Madrid rivalry is the equivalent for Ukrainian fans to Shakhtar (Donetsk) v Dynamo (Kiev), the two most popular teams in the Ukraine. During el clasico, football audiences in the Ukraine are divided down the middle. Ukrainians support Barça or Real Madrid as if they came from their own cities. We are a few thousand kilometres away from the Camp Nou and the Santiago Bernabeu, but we feel like we're in the thick of the action at the stadium in Spain. We feel these wonderful emotions!

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the main footballing heroes for the majority of Ukrainian children, who play wearing shirts bearing their names on the back. And they dream of one day being as successful players in the future.

LaLiga has recently become even more popular in the Ukraine. This is a result of Yevhen Konoplyanka's move to Sevilla FC in the summer. He is our best player right now, so now a lot of Ukrainians have become Sevilla fans and are following 'Kono' there closely. We are confident that he can become one of the best players in LaLiga. He has everything it takes to do this – not to mention support in his homeland, which can inspire him to achieve fantastic things!
