Málaga CF welcome an in-form Real Sociedad outfit in this Liga BBVA matchday 29 encounter. The Andalusians, whose home strength has seen them suffer just three defeats at La Rosaleda all season, will look to put the brakes on a team which, under coach David Moyes, is on a run of three wins in a row. Los malacitanos will be aiming to maintain their grip on seventh position, which could bring a ticket to the UEFA Europa League, at the expense of a txuri-urdin side who have left it late but remain within reach of this target.
Team news
The hosts have two important absences going into this clash. Ignacio Camacho will be unavailable as he recovers following recent surgery on a pubis problem, and after his sending-off at Vallecas the suspended Angeleri is also unable to feature. Real Sociedad, meanwhile, are only missing Alberto de La Bella, who picked up a soleus injury in training this week.
Views from the dugout
Málaga boss Javi Gracia declared that Real Sociedad have "high quality" players and that to earn the three points his team need to "impose their style of play". Real Sociedad chief Moyes stated that claiming their first away victory of the campaign at Getafe had "taken the pressure off" and they will now "try to get the second". "One win away from home is not enough," he added.
