The FUNDACIÓN LALIGA held its Annual General Meeting this past Tuesday, July 8, in LALIGA's flag room, in a session conducted in hybrid format, both in-person and online. The meeting was led by the president of the FUNDACIÓN LALIGA, Clemente Villaverde, and was attended by Javier Tebas, a member of the Board of Trustees in his capacity as president of LALIGA, as well as the entity's other trustees.
During the session, the Board of Trustees approved the Action Plan for the 2026/27 season, the main item on the agenda, presented by Olga de la Fuente, director of the Foundation. The meeting also revealed the strategic priorities that will guide the FUNDACIÓN LALIGA's activity during the coming year, along with impact data on the projects the organization has driven on behalf of the most vulnerable groups. These initiatives will continue to focus, both domestically and internationally, on education, training, social inclusion, and the strategic management of social responsibility and sustainability.
The meeting also served to announce the renewal of Clemente Villaverde as president of the FUNDACIÓN LALIGA, who stated that it's a matter of pride to continue leading the organization with the Board's renewed trust for this new stage, adding that they will keep working to ensure football remains a tool for social transformation, driving projects that create opportunities, foster inclusion, and contribute to people's development, both in Spain and internationally.
