Karim Benzema extends until 2019

Real Madrid CF has renewed the contract of one of its top strikers, Karim Benzema, until June 2019. The news means that the Frenchman, who had one year left on his contract, will be at the Santiago Bernabéu for a total of ten years.

Benzema has become one of Carlo Ancelotti's most important forwards since his arrival in the capital. His more than 110 goals in all competitions have made him a shoo-in for the team, which won the UEFA Champions League and the Copa del Rey last season.
