Jenni Hermoso (9 May 1990, Madrid) has received the award for the Top Goalscorer in the Liga Iberdrola 2015/16. The Madrilenian signed off on a great season for FC Barcelona Women, making a decisive contribution with her football and her 24 goals.
LaLiga previously made a commitment to reaffirming its constant support for women's football and has now gone one step further. The first ever #PremiosLaLiga award for women's football was presented at this year's gala. Barcelona player Jenni Hermoso takes the accolade for the top scorer last season, in which she produced a 24-goal haul.
Her quality out on the pitch and her nose for goal have led the Madrid-born striker to claim the award presented by LaLiga. Hermoso is a focal point in the penalty box for Las Azulgranas and has transformed herself into one of the most lethal forwards in the Liga Iberdrola.
