Celtic FC 1-3 FC Barcelona

The reigning LaLiga Santander champions kicked off their pre-season with a win over Scottish giants Celtic in Dublin. Arda Turan put Barcelona ahead with a stellar strike and although Leigh Griffiths briefly drew the Bhoys level, Efe Ambrose's own goal and Munir's strike on the stroke of half-time ensured that Luis Enrique's team ran out victorious.

Real Madrid 3-2 Chelsea FC

Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid are starting to find their feet this pre-season and they managed a comfortable win over Chelsea in Michigan in the aftermath of their defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain. Two goals from Marcelo early on gave Madrid a clear lead and a sensational strike from the academy product Mariano further extended their cushion. Towards the end of the match, the Belgians Michy Batshuayi and Eden Hazard pulled goals back for the Londoners.

Everton FC 1-1 Real Betis (3-4 on penalties)

Gustavo Poyet's men concluded their LaLiga World stay in Germany by clinching the Dresden Cup. Having beaten SV Werder Bremen 1-0 in their previous game, the Andalusians drew 1-1 with Premier League side Everton before prevailing on penalties, which proved enough to capture the trophy.

FC St. Pauli 1-2 Sevilla FC

Sevilla's superb start to life under Jorge Sampaoli continued on Saturday as they made it five pre-season wins in a row. Having triumphed in both of their LaLiga World fixtures in Orlando, the Andalusians completed a hat-trick of victories in Germany thanks to goals from Vitolo and Joaquin Correa.

FC Nantes 0-0 Athletic Club

Athletic are steadily building up their match sharpness ahead of the beginning of the season and earned a creditable draw away to Ligue 1 outfit Nantes. Iñaki Williams and Beñat, with a free-kick, had the best chances for Ernesto Valverde's troops, who were unable to find a breakthrough.

SBV Excelsior 0-3 RCD Espanyol

Quique Sanchez Flores's Espanyol ended their Dutch tour with another win, this time convincingly dispatching top-flight side Excelsior, who are further along in their preparations as they get their league campaign underway next week. Oscar Duarte and Leo Baptistao handed the visitors a comfortable lead in the first half and Alvaro rounded off the scoring in the second period.

RC Deportivo 2-0 R. Oviedo

Deportivo tasted glory in the 65th edition of the Emma Cuervo Trophy by overcoming LaLiga 1|2|3 outfit Oviedo in the Galician town of Ribadeo. After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Borja Valle and Fernando Navarro netted after the break to nab another piece of pre-season silverware for the team coached by Gaizka Garitano.

Cadiz CF 2-1 At. Osasuna

LaLiga Santander side Osasuna fell to LaLiga 1|2|3 opponents Cadiz in an evenly matched friendly encounter in Los Barrios, Andalusia. Nino's goal was not enough to prevent Enrique Martin's men from slipping to defeat in their third tune-up game of the summer.

Fortuna Dusseldorf 2-3 Malaga CF

Malaga picked up another win on their German tour by beating Fortuna Dusseldorf 3-2 with goals from Sandro Ramirez, Roberto Rosales and the young Youssef En-Nesyri. Following their appearance in the Aachen Cup last weekend, Juande Ramos's men brought their time in Germany to a close with another positive result.

FC Ilves 1-4 Valencia CF

Valencia secured an emphatic victory on their visit to Tampere in a fixture held to mark their Finnish opposition's 85th anniversary. Ariday, Paco Alcacer, Rodrigo and Santi Mina were on target as Pako Ayestaran's charges delivered an impressive display.

SC Heerenveen 0-2 Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad remain unbeaten during the pre-season and they rounded off their tour of the Netherlands with yet another victory this Saturday, producing a 2-0 win over Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen. Juanmi, who has been on scintillating form this pre-season, was on cue once again to put his side in the ascendency, and Joseba Zaldua sealed the deal in the closing stages.

Real Madrid Castilla 0-1 CD Leganes

With just a few weeks to go before they play their first ever LaLiga Santander match, CD Leganes are continuing to fine-tune their form. Asier Garitano's charges beat Real Madrid's reserves at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium thanks to a Victor Diaz goal in the first half.

Besiktas JK 3-0 SD Eibar

Eibar were comfortably beaten in a friendly against Turkish side Besiktas in Austria. The game was played in stifling heat and Jose Luis Mendilibar's players were unable to find the back of the net, with Besiktas proving superior throughout.

Al-Ahli 0-0 Granada CF

Granada's friendly against Al-Ahli of the United Arab Emirates in Marbella ended in a stalemate. Following a clash with few chances to speak of, Paco Jemez's men left with a draw, extending their unbeaten run this pre-season to five games.
