Team News:

- R. Sporting: Jean-Sylvain Babin (injured); Diego Mariño and Carlos Carmona (suspended).

- Atletico Madrid: Diego Godin, Tiago, Augusto Fernandez, Jan Oblak and Juanfran (injured).

Match Facts:

R. Sporting (18th, 16 pts):

- Last week's away win over CD Leganes put Rubi's men just two points shy of escaping the LaLiga Santander relegation places. The Asturian outfit could emerge from the drop zone for the first time since Matchday 7 if they come up trumps against Atletico and Leganes fail to beat FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

- Sporting have not lost in their last four matches against the capital club at El Molinon (W2, D2). Their last home loss to the Madrilenians was a 5-2 defeat in 2008.

Atletico Madrid (4th, 42 pts):

- Atletico have yet to lose a LaLiga Santander game in 2017, Diego Simeone's troops having put together a seven-match unbeaten run.

- Los Rojiblancos have only won two of their last seven away games in LaLiga Santander and have drawn their last two. Simeone's recruits have already conceded the same number of goals in the league as they did in the whole of last season.
