For Granada, Jeison Murillo, Eddy Silvestre, Sulayman Marreh, Emanuel Insua and Adrián Colunga are unavailable due to injury. As for Córdoba, José Ángel Crespo is injured and joins the confirmed injuries Iago Bouzón and Bruno Zuculini who are out until the end of the season.

The Granada manager, José Ramón Sandoval, called upon his dressing room to show attitude and motivation to get the win: "You have to believe in it like the day at Getafe CF and go for everything". He also assessed his opponents: "We have to carry the weight of the game against Córdoba and make them know who is playing for points".
In turn, the Córdoba manager, José Antonio Romero, stated they "will be as competitive as possible in the game". He also stated that they should respect the work of their players, "the club and the fans".
