Two points fade away
When it seemed like Malaga was going to get their third victory in the Liga BBVA, Granada reacted. The 2-0 predicted a calm ending in La Rosaleda. However, Granada came back in time. There were still some heat-stopping final minutes.
Charles, the goal scorer
The footballer is the Andalusian team’s top goal scorer. Malaga has only scored seven goals in the Liga BBVA and four have been by Charles. This time, he scored in the final seconds of the first half. Recio won the ball in the opposite half, controlled it and passed it to Miguel Torres, who crossed it into the box. The ball found Charles’ header.

His dream came true. Malaga’s footballer scored the second goal. He took advantage of a loose ball to, with an outstanding volley, score the second goal. From that moment, Malaga’s game went through its best minutes.
El Arabi and Rochina, to the rescue.
38th minute of the second half. El Arabi, with a strong header, shortens the distance on the score. Two minutes afterwards, Rochina scores the equalizer. Another beautiful header. In order to draw, Granada put effort, strength and sacrifice into the game.
A useless point
Malaga needed to win. So did Granada. Obviously the point felt better for Jose Sandoval’s men; however, both teams score a point that doesn’t help them get away from the bottom positions.
