Getafe CF join the hunt for the leading authority on LaLiga with LaLiga's Ultimate Xpert

The Madrid-based club and their forward Angel Rodriguez will contribute to the project featuring LaLiga's international broadcasters in search of the most knowledgeable LaLiga Santander fan in the world with a question about Los Azulones.

Angel Rodriguez takes up the mantle in LaLiga's Ultimate Xpert on behalf of Getafe CF to challenge LaLiga Santander fans to correctly answer the question for Matchday 34.

Will the world's leading football boffins know which was the first season that Getafe played in the Spanish top flight?

LaLiga's international broadcasters continue in their quest to identify the Ultimate Expert, with time running out as the contest enters its final straight and we approach the awarding of the grand prizes prepared by the broadcasters in the form of a unique football experience during the coming season.

Not all of the broadcasters have offered up exactly the same prize, with some deciding to adapt it to the circumstances. For example, beIN Sports Asia are offering the Ultimate Expert from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong the chance to enjoy a “staycation”, with a local themed experience in their home country. To do so, the finalists will take part in an original challenge, a Kahoot with 10 questions on LaLiga to prove who is quickest to the punch and decide who will snap up this fantastic prize.

We can also highlight the campaign by beIN Sports Indonesia, compressing the contest into a total of 10 matchdays and posing two questions a week. Promotion of its LaLiga's Ultimate Xpert contest has been centred on social media (Facebook and Instagram) and television, with viewers able to follow the questions posed about the Spanish competition on the beIN Sports 1 channel.

Meanwhile many other broadcasters have run the contest over the course of 20 matchdays, as is the case with Premier Sports in the United Kingdom.

The official broadcaster for the territory has funnelled the promotion of the contest through its Twitter handle, posting the video-questions every Thursday and picking the winners on Mondays, thereby triggering constant interest in the channel and interactions with it.
