The passion for Granada CF extends far beyond the confines of the Andalusian city and has recently taken hold in France. Los Nazaries and LaLiga are represented in the neighbouring country by a group of fans who came together a year ago to create a Granada supporters' club. The group currently boasts 17 members and the hope is for that figure to progressively swell over the coming years.

As the president of the Granada CF Supporters' Club in France, Adrien Rodriguez explains, "We launched the supporters' group in October 2015 and we've had some great times travelling around to watch the team. We've seen them play at Los Carmenes and we've also travelled to Barcelona, Madrid and San Sebastian to cheer the boys on." Rodriguez outlined the group's plans for the coming season, whilst expressing his excitement at the new blueprint being introduced by Jemez and the influx of summer signings.

"This season we'll be organising more trips and we'll be there with the team in Granada, Barcelona, Malaga, Bilbao and Seville, those are the ones we've got lined up so far." Thanks to the creation of this group, these supporters - who are based in Paris, Nantes, Montpellier, Biarritz and Narbonne - are able to live out their passion for Granada from afar. For these devoted fans, the old adage that absence makes the heart grow fonder certainly rings true.
