CD Lugo-CA Osasuna
Liga Adelante matchday six starts with a clash between CD Lugo and CA Osasuna. The home team are going through a difficult spell in front of goal, having only scored once in five matches. For their part, the team from Navarre come into the game high on confidence after their spectacular comeback against RCD Mallorca in a match that will be hard to forget for the Rojillos' fans as it ended 6-4.
The visiting coach, Jan Urban, spoke about how he sees his team after the win against Mallorca: "We have a team that wants to play football and sometimes we forget that we have to defend well. We have to improve a lot, above all in defence".
The Galician side will have to make do without Víctor Marco, Pelayo Novo and Ernesto, who are injured, and the suspended Carlos Pita. The only absentee for Jan Urban will be that of the injured Oier Sanjurjo.
UE Llagostera-Real Zaragoza
After their victory over FC Barcelona B, UE Llagostera host a team that has played a lot of its years in the Liga BBVA, Real Zaragoza. The side from Aragon also recorded a win, their first of the season, last week against Deportivo Alavés.
Santi Castillejo, the Llagostera manager, spoke of the importance of the match: "When you pick up points for three weeks in a row you know you are doing things right, which is why if we could get something out of the game against Zaragoza, I would start to believe in our consistency and continuity".
For Víctor Muñoz, the Zaragoza coach, their latest victory provided motivation: "The win was very good for the fans, to give them something to get excited about, but also to repay us for the effort we put in and to see that it pays off. The win doesn't mean we can relax but it does motivate us to carry on".
Recreativo, still unbeaten after five matches
Deportivo Alavés-CE Sabadell FC
After the defeat to Real Zaragoza, Deportivo Alavés will meet CE Sabadell FC to whom fate was kinder when they got their first win of the season against SD Ponferradina.
Alberto López, despite the rut his team is in, thinks his players are ready: "The most frustrating thing is that, from the two good matches we've played at home, we've only picked up one point. You win, you lose or you draw, but I’m happy with what the team is doing".
"We have to get our A-game back and be strong and solid in defence". This is Miquel Olmo's goal for his visit to Mendizorroza. Raúl Tamudo returns to the fold.
Real Racing Club-RC Recreativo de Huelva
The clash in El Sardinero could be one-sided. Real Racing Club are yet to win so far in the Liga Adelante and have one point, while RC Recreativo de Huelva have not lost any games and have notched up nine.
Francisco Fernández highlighted his opponent's solid defending: "Recre are after promotion, they are a good team with experienced players from the Liga BBVA. They have demonstrated that they are very solid, and their performances in defence have been admirable".
Andreu Guerao is the only absentee for Racing Club. The only change in José Luis Oltra's squad is Dani Molina, who comes in for the injured Diego Jiménez.
