· The Miniestadi, which was inaugurated on 23 September 1982, is part of a sports complex including the Camp Nou, the Palau Blaugrana, the Palau de Gel, the club museum, Can Planes and the club's offices, among other facilities.

· The first fixture held there was a friendly between two FC Barcelona XIs back in the Diego Maradona days. One of the most wonderful moments was when the Argentine was substituted and replaced by a 14-year-old called Guillermo Amor, who would go on to be one of the club's most charismatic players.

· There have been some historic moments at the Miniestadi this year, such as Barcelona qualifying for the Women's Champions League semi-finals by beating FC Rosengard 2-0 there in the second leg of their quarter-final clash.

· Not only is it a football arena, but it has also played host to American football games involving the now-defunct NFL Europe outfit FC Barcelona Dragons, as well as various concerts.

· The Miniestadi has been the recent home of Barça B, but that will change after the 2017/18 season, as they will be moving to the new-build Johan Cruyff Stadium at the Joan Gamper Training Ground.
