CA Osasuna-RCD Mallorca

CA Osasuna welcome RCD Mallorca to their stadium needing points, having claimed just one in the four matchdays held in the Liga Adelante. The home side will hope to make their fans forget the 1-3 defeat suffered in the last game at their ground against Deportivo Alavés.

Jan Urban will be without Oier Sanjurjo through injury. Valeri Karpin, meanwhile, analysed his side’s form: "We have to work hard; this team has enough quality to be at the top. What this team does need is a lot of hard work, from the set piece to attacking mechanisms".

Girona FC-Real Betis Balompié

Girona FC, with ten points from a possible twelve, have made the best start in their history and against Real Betis Balompié they will want to continue their good form. The Andalusian side visits one of the division leaders off the back of two defeats.

Pablo Machín, the Girona manager, spoke about his team’s form: "I’m very happy with the pride and sacrifice the team have shown. The Gijón game was an example of our attitude". Julio Velázquez, meanwhile, talked about the key to getting back to winning ways: "We have to try to win, to compete, and for the team to show what it is, but there’s no pressure or anything like that".

CD Leganés-Real Racing Club

It will be a clash between newly promoted sides at the Butarque Municipal Stadium after very different starts to the Liga Adelante season, with CD Leganés mid table and Real Racing Club with no points so far.

The Cantabrian side’s striker, Mamadou Koné, returns from injury for this fixture. His manager spoke about the atmosphere in the dressing room after the negative results: "The team is good mentally, because we know this is the way. We’re united and convinced that the results will come".

Real Valladolid CF-CD Tenerife

CD Tenerife will put Real Valladolid’s good form to the test on their visit to the José Zorrilla Municipal Stadium. The Pucelanos have claimed three wins in four games, their only loss coming on matchday 2 against CD Lugo by 1-0.

Álvaro Cervera, the Canary Islands side’s manager, heaped praise on his opponent: "Valladolid have Liga BBVA players, practically all of them. They must be one of the teams in contention. They have lots of variations, lots of alternatives".

Albacete Balompié-CD Numancia

Matchday 5 of the Liga Adelante ends at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium with the game between Albacete Balompié and CD Numancia. The visitors have come away with a win at Albacete on four of the nine occasions they have met.

Juan Antonio Anquela, the Soria team’s manager, has said that his side will fight "to the death" for the three points, though he is aware of the difficulty of the encounter: "We’ll face a team that play good football and believe in what they do and that makes them a difficult opponent".
