The San Mamés Stadium will dressed up to host the first leg of the Super Cup of Spain between Athletic Club and FC Barcelona, to be held this Friday, August 14 at 22:00.

The "rojiblancos", Copa del Rey runners-up, and the Barça side, Liga BBVA champion and Copa del Rey winners, will struggle to get a result that allows them to face the second leg full of confidence and optimism.

Athletic Club is facing this "Supercopa" with spirit of revenge, after staying one step away from glory in the last Cup final against the Catalan team. In addition, the coach Ernesto Valverde and his players are faced with the challenge of lifting the club's first title since 1984, year in which Athletic Club won La Liga, Copa del Rey and Super Cup of Spain.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona comes to the match after winning the UEFA Super Cup in a thrilling final against Sevilla FC which had to be resolved in extra time (5-4). Thus, having added to their cabinets Liga BBVA, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League in the 2015, now they battle for their fifth title of the year and his 12th Spanish Super Cup.

Iñaki Williams, Mikel Rico, Ander Iturraspe, Iker Muniain and Jonás Ramalho are out of Athletic team due to injury, while Barcelona will be without Neymar, Jordi Alba and Douglas Pereira. The show, in any case, is completely guaranteed.
