First football match and Spanish companies in Hong Kong

Football, business and networking came together in Hong Kong for the third Spain Experience event as part of the LFP World Challenge Asian Tour. The Association of Spanish Chefs in Asia were in attendance and they were responsible for the catering.

ICEX chose the Hotel Intercontinental in Hong Kong to host the third Spain Experience as part of the LFP World Challenge Asian Tour. This time it was Valencia CF and Villarreal CF who were responsible for representing Spanish football before the companies on the Chinese peninsula.

The LFP World Challenge Ambassador, Augusto César Lendoiro, took the opportunity to encourage all the companies to participate in the project. “Spanish football, which is the best in the world, can help all businessmen in our country to open doors that, until now, were closed”.

Managing director of Villarreal CF, Fernando Roig Nogueroles, encouraged the companies to “utilize football in a relationship that is beneficial to both”. Amadeo Salvo, for his part, reminded those present that “football is not the only thing at the cutting edge in Spain. Spanish technology, gastronomy and tourism are internationally successful and we should be able to promote these models”.
