Fidel named LaLiga SmartBank Player of the Month for November

Elche CF winger, Fidel Chaves, has scooped the LaLiga SmartBank Player of the Month award for November. The Huelva-born flanker was one of the standout performers for the Valencian side after hitting six goals in the team's four league outings last month.

The Elche number 16 began November in irresistible form as he helped himself to a hat-trick in the 4-2 victory over CD Mirandes, before again getting his name on the scoresheet in the triumph over RC Deportivo at Riazor. Fidel then rounded off his excellent month by bagging a brace in the epic 3-3 stalemate away to Malaga CF.

He will collect the award in front of the Estadio Martinez Valero faithful before his side's meeting with UD Las Palmas on 15 December (18:00 CET kick-off).
