Felipe Caicedo, the Espanyol striker, enjoyed one of his best footballing stages in Levante. And it is that Ecuador player was part of the Levantino squad in the 2010/2011 course and it was enough to become the top scorer in the history of Levante in a season with thirteen goals in Liga BBVA and another one in the Copa Del Rey.

If Caicedo could achieve these 14 goals was mainly for his effectiveness: ball that reached his feet, ball that had great potential to end up in the back of the net. A quality that has not lost in the current campaign.

Is common among footballers to apologize to their former team if they score a goal, and Caicedo knows very well, as he has scored two goals in the last two matches against Levante.

Last season was the first of the international player with RCD Espanyol and he faced twice the team that holds a part of his heart. Caicedo scored in both matches. The first was at the Power8 Stadium in matchday 13, in which he scored the 1-1. His first reaction was to apologize. And he acted in same way at the Ciutat de Valencia 19 matchdays later, when he made the 1-2 on the scoreboard.

Caicedo has great memories of the Levantine team, to which he will face again in the next matchday. And it will be a special game, full of excitement for the striker and where he will meet with former teammates with which he shared one of his best years in Liga BBVA.
