Eusebio Sacristan named Liga BBVA Manager of the Month for February

Eusebio Sacristan has been named as the Liga BBVA Manager of the Month for February. The former Barcelona midfielder has overseen a change in the side's fortunes which saw La Real go unbeaten throughout February. This accolade is awarded by BBVA, the competition's main sponsor, and is voted for by the LaLiga.es writers.

Real Sociedad collected 10 points during February - courtesy of three wins and a draw - to march up the table after what was a mixed start to the campaign. Eusebio has managed to get his players believing in themselves again and has succeeded in instilling a particular brand of football at Anoeta.

Two of this month's wins came in a comprehensive fashion with a 5-0 away trouncing of RCD Espanyol and a 3-0 home rout against Granada CF. Although the most important victory of them all came in the Basque derby when the visitors ran out 1-0 winners over Athletic Club at San Mames.
