Team News:

- RC Celta: Andreu Fontas and Claudio Beauvue (injured)

- Villarreal CF: Samuel Garcia and Jonathan dos Santos (injured)

Match Facts:

RC Celta (5th, 41 pts):

- On a hot streak: Eduardo Berizzo’s men have overcome one of their most fragile spells and have now produced two wins in a row in the league (vs. SD Eibar and Getafe CF).

- Nolito is back: The striker got back among the goals in Getafe. His strike gave Celta the three points to put them in the European spots.

- Good memories of the first match: Celta took home the three points on their visit to El Madrigal, beating the Yellow Submarine 2-1. Nolito and Fabian Orellana got the goals for the Vigo outfit.

Villarreal CF (4th, 52 pts):

- Following their win in the derby and Real Madrid’s defeat to Atletico Madrid, Marcelino Garcia Toral’s men are just two points behind Los Blancos. Furthermore, if they manage a win this Wednesday, they could leave Celta 14 points shy of the Champions League places.

- Thirteen games unbeaten: Villarreal are starting to produce a historic run. Their 3-0 win over Levante UD was their seventh in the last 13 games. What’s more, Villarreal have taken 13 out of a possible 21 points in the second half of the season.

- Clean sheets: Alphonse Areola is one of the keys to Villarreal’s solidity at the back. The Frenchman has gone five games without fishing the ball out of his net. Villarreal have the second tightest defence in the Liga BBVA with only 18 goals conceded, behind Atletico on 11.

Don’t leave Vigo without... visiting El Olivo park and the viewpoint over the inlet. You can take a rest there and enjoy the wonderful views of the entire Vigo inlet. It is located opposite A Fonte square, one of the prettiest in the city. Also, El Olivo park is a veritable symbol of the region and gives the city it’s local nickname of the Olive City.
