Espanyol’s squad is unchanged from the Copa quarter-final encounter in Seville, having based themselves in the city over the past few days. For Sevilla, Benoît Trémoulinas, José Antonio Reyes and Sebastián Cristóforo will be unavailable to Unai Emery due to injury.

The home boss spoke to the press ahead of the clash and declared: "Sunday is a great opportunity to continue on a path that we want to pursue with determination". Discussing his side’s opponents, Emery was in cautious mood and revealed that the Copa tie gave his team a better insight into their rivals.
Sergio González, meanwhile, told the media that his charges go into the encounter "with the same desire" and made it clear that he is out for victory: "The only thing that can enter our heads is trying to win the three points or get something positive out of the game".
