Team News:

- R. Sporting: Full squad available.

CD Leganes: Full squad available.

Match Facts: Sporting (8th, 4 pts)

- The Asturians have kicked off the campaign in fine fashion. After a 2-1 win at home to Athletic Club in their opener, they secured a hard-fought 0-0 draw on their visit to D. Alaves on Matchday 2.

- Indeed, a victory for Abelardo's men would make this the club's best start to a LaLiga Santander season since 1980/81, when they bagged seven points in their first three games.

Leganes (10th, 4 pts)

- The new boys are in seventh heaven right now. They remain unbeaten in their first-ever top-flight campaign, having followed up a 1-0 win away to RC Celta by holding Atletico Madrid to a 0-0 stalemate.

- Leganes are the only team in the division yet to let in a goal. Their keeper, Jon Ander Serantes, was recognised for his performances en route to picking up back-to-back clean sheets by being named the LaLiga Santander Player of the Month for August.
