Diego Lopez, Garay and Nasri arrive on transfer deadline day

The 2016/17 summer transfer window has slammed firmly shut with the 42 LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1l2l3 clubs bringing in more than 430 new players, many of whom signed over the last 24 hours, with Valencia CF, RCD Espanyol and Granada CF amongst the busiest clubs as the clock ticked down.

Valencia brought in veteran Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay, along with Eliaquim Mangala and striker Munir El Haddadi, on loan from FC Barcelona. Valencia striker Paco Alcacer went the other way and joined the Azulgranas on the morning of 31st August as their newest recruit.

Goalkeeper Pau Lopez left Espanyol, as did Anaitz Arbilla (to SD Eibar), Alex Fernandez (to Elche CF) and centre-back Alvaro Gonzalez, who was sold to Villarreal, whilst the Catalan club brought in keeper Diego Lopez, defender Diego Reyes and striker Alvaro Vazquez.

Ruben Vezo, Alberto Bueno - who returns to LaLiga -, Artem Kravets, Atzili, Franck Tabanou and Mehdi Carcela all joined Paco Jemez's Granada on the final day of the transfer window.

Samir Nasri arrived from Manchester City on the final day to complete Jorge Sampaoli's new-look Sevilla FC squad. Meanwhile, Dutchman Ryan Donk joined Sevilla's cross-city rivals R. Betis.

Malaga CF signed keeper Deny Boyko, from Turkish side Besitkas, to further strengthen their squad. Following Lucas Perez's departure, RC Deportivo went looking for a new striker, which they found in the shape of Joselu Mato. R. Sporting brought in Borja Viguera and Douglas on the last day of the transfer window.

A familiar face to LaLiga followers, Giuseppe Rossi, landed at RC Celta, the Italian bringing experience to the frontline of Eduardo Berizzo's squad.
