Deportivo rediscover magic of LaLiga World in Montevideo

RC Deportivo have arrived in the Uruguayan capital brimming with excitement about their second LaLiga World tour. New coach Gaizka Garitano's men will play two matches during their time in the breathtaking city that lies along the River Plate.

The first game will be a meeting with arch-rivals RC Celta at the Estadio Gran Parque Central. This edition of O Noso Derbi – 'our derby' in Galician, as the fixture is nicknamed – will be the first ever to take place outside Spain. This piece of history will be served up by LaLiga World on Thursday from 17:30 local time (22:30 in Spain).

Garitano's charges will go on to round off their stay in Montevideo by taking on CA Peñarol at their Estadio Campeon del Siglo on Sunday at 16:00 local time (21:00 in Spain). "They're going to be two great matches against strong opposition. I'm sure that the atmosphere will be one to savour," said Deportivo vice-captain Laure on arrival in the Uruguayan capital.
