- RCD Espanyol: Anaitz Arbilla and Abraham Gonzalez (both injured); Oscar Duarte and Alvaro Gonzalez (both suspended).
Match Facts:
Barcelona (1st, 85 pts):
- Following the three consecutive defeats (to Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Valencia CF) that wiped out their cushion at the summit, Luis Enrique's charges have bounced back with three league wins in a row, scoring 16 times and not conceding at all. The upshot is that they could be crowned champions this matchday if Atletico Madrid lose and Los Blancos fail to take all three points.
- Barcelona have won 15, drawn one and lost two of their 18 home games in the Liga BBVA this season and still hold their title hopes in their own hands. If they beat Espanyol and then Granada CF on the last day, they will retain their crown.
- The Azulgranas are riding a six-match winning streak in league derbies against Espanyol on home turf. The last time the Pericos came away from the Camp Nou with something was in the 2008/09 campaign, when they secured a surprise 2-1 victory.
Espanyol (14th, 40 pts):
- Constantin Galca's men's 1-0 triumph over Sevilla FC last time round ended a five-game winless run and left them on the brink of Liga BBVA survival. However, they still need a point to be mathematically out of the woods.
- Espanyol have the fourth worst away record in the Spanish top flight this term, having only picked up 11 points on their travels all season.

- The Pericos have visited the Camp Nou 81 times in all, running out victorious on nine occasions, claiming a share of the spoils on a further nine, and suffering 63 defeats.
