RCD Mallorca 0-1 Cordoba

This was an important game for both teams. RCD Mallorca were hoping to guarantee their survival whilst Cordoba were looking to seal their place in the playoffs. The Andalusian side took all three points thanks to Florin Andone, the Liga Adelante's joint top goalscorer with Sergio Leon. The win leaves Cordoba in fifth place with one game left to play and they depend on themselves for a place in the playoffs.

Elche CF 2-2 R. Valladolid CF

As the scoreline depicts this was a very evenly-matched affair. Both sides had their chances in the first half, but it was R. Valladolid CF who scored first. Roger made it 1-0 to the visitors when he latched onto a great pass from Manu del Moral. Sergio Leon levelled the game just two minutes later. It was a case of role reversal after the break, with Elche taking the lead, only to see Juan Villar make it 2-2 and see the two teams share a point apiece.

Girona FC 2-0 AD Alcorcon

A massive win for the Catalan side saw them climb two places to sixth in the table. Ruben Sobrino was one of Girona FC's standout stars. He opened the scoring and played a huge part in securing all three points for his team. There was little AD Alcorcon could do in the face of Girona's dominance and the home side doubled their lead through Cristian Herrera on 75 minutes.

CD Tenerife 1-1 SD Ponferradina

SD Ponferradina needed to take something from their trip to Tenerife and they salvaged a point to climb out of the bottom four. Both sides came out fighting, but the game's two goals did not come until the second half. Choco Lozano's 59-minute effort gave the home fans something to cheer about, but Antonio Raillo's equaliser sealed a valuable point at a tough stadium.

Albacete 2-1 Athletic Club B

Albacete played their last game of the season in front of their home fans at the Carlos Belmonte stadium and did so with a win over Athletic Club B.  The home side's two goals came courtesy of Jason Remeseiro and Jorge Pulido. Another piece of good news for Albacete was the return of academy graduate Jose Carrasco, who missed the entirety of this season with a serious injury.

D. Alavés 2-0 CD Numancia

Without a doubt, the game of the weekend. The Basque side sealed promotion to the Liga BBVA with a win over CD Numancia. Fans at the Mendizorroza stadium did not have to wait long for their captain, Manu Garcia, to open the scoring and send the stadium into raptures. Jose Bordalas' team did not sit back and took control of the game. Before the break, Raul Garcia scored with a spectacular free-kick which made it 2-0 and sealed the win. It was a victory worth a place in the top flight.

CD Lugo 0-3 Nastic

Gimnastic are not giving up in their quest for automatic promotion to the Liga BBVA. Having sealed the points away to CD Lugo, they now face an Alaves team who have already sealed promotion. The Catalan side's first two goals came from set pieces and their third did not come until the 93rd minute courtesy of Anibal Zurdo. Manolo Reina also ensured a clean sheet for the visitors when he kept out Pablo Caballero's spot kick.

At. Osasuna 2-3 SD Huesca

There was a goal fest at El Sadar. The win saw the visitors guarantee their place in the Liga Adelante for another season. Osasuna broke the deadlock through Miguel de Las Cuevas, but were left a man down on the half hour mark when Alejandro Berenguer was given a straight red card. SD Huesca improved as the minutes ticked by and they were rewarded when Luis Fernandez levelled the game. That was not the last goal of the first half as Nagore fired the visitors ahead on 35 minutes. Osasuna equalised in the second half only to see Huesca carve out a third goal to seal the points.

R. Zaragoza 1-0 R. Oviedo

Victory leaves R. Zaragoza just a step away from guaranteeing their place in the playoffs, whilst defeat saw R. Oviedo lose any chance they had of promotion. The winning goal came courtesy of Alberto Guitian. The Asturian team improved as the game progressed, but the home side held out for the win and three valuable points.

CD Leganes 2-0 UE Llagostera

A vital win for CD Leganes, who remain second in the table and depend on themselves to seal automatic promotion to the Liga BBVA. Meanwhile, defeat saw UE Llagostera relegated. Leganes started the match well and they took an 11th-minute lead when Gabriel found the net. The home side had to wait until the second half for their second goal of the game, when Jorge Miramon guided home David Timor's cross.

UD Almeria 2-1 CD Mirandes

The Andalusian team struggled, battled hard and took the points. Despite dominating the match, Mirandes fought hard until the very end. Kalu Uche opened the scoring for the home side on eight minutes. Mirandes levelled the game in the second half through Alex Garcia and could have then taken the lead, but Jorge Morcillo's 79th-minute goal sealed the points for Almeria.
