On Saturday 27th February, Cape Town will experience all the emotion of Spanish football as LaLiga holds its first official broadcast from South Africa, an exclusive event which will allow fans to enjoy the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid live from the Spanish capital.
Competitions will take centre stage at Sea Point Promenade Park which will be open to the public from 13:00. There fans will be able to take part in a prize draw for a trip for two to Spain and two tickets to watch the game of their choice next season. In order to take part, fans will have to answer a question on LaLiga, which will be projected onto big screens during the event. The question must be answered via SMS and the winner will be announced at the end of the game. The money raised from the SMS messages will be donated to a local charity.
The free event will also offer educational workshops and clinics for children, interactive games and activities, and will be attended by LaLiga president, Javier Tebas, and Liga BBVA ambassadors Gaizka Mendieta and Patrick Kluivert.
