RC Celta and Sevilla FC drew 1-1 in the final game on Sunday in the Liga BBVA. The Galicians go 10th in the table with 47 points thanks to this result, while Sevilla stay fifth in the table with 70 points, drifting behind Valencia CF in fourth.

Sevilla got off to a dream start in the game as Kevin Gameiro combined with Iago Aspas to score with less than eight minutes on the clock. The Frenchman had two more chances to increase Sevilla's advantage, but could not beat Sergio Álvarez in the Celta goal again. His team-mate Alejandro Arribas also came within inches to scoring a second for Sevilla, heading off the post. Charles Dias had Celta’s best opportunity in the first half, but his header missed the target.

Celta made a strong start to the second half, heading back out onto the pitch determined to turn the game around. Eduardo Berizzo's side got the goal they deserved on 58 minutes as Santi Mina scored from the spot, lifting the fans inside the Estadio de Balaídos. The final half an hour made for riveting viewing, and either team could have won the game. However, despite the efforts of the two teams, the score remained 1-1.
