To end 2013 on a positive note is the objective of RC Celta de Vigo and CA Osasuna, who meet in the 17th round of Liga BBVA fixtures.
The side from Vigo, who on the 30th of November recorded their first win of the season at the Estadio de Balaídos, will try to attain their second victory in front of their own fans with the objective of moving out of the relegation places. Goal machine Charles misses out through suspension, whilst forward Santi Mina, goalkeeper Yoel Rodríguez and defender David Costas all return from their respective injury problems. “We need to be at our best to beat Osasuna. It’s an important match because we’re playing a direct rival. Osasuna are a side in good form”, said Celta’s coach Luis Enrique.
Meanwhile, Osasuna, who are a point behind Celta, welcome back captain Patxi Puñal, but will be without injured duo Sisi and Nino, and the suspended Alejandro Arribas and Francisco Silva. “To end with three more points would be great. We are playing well of late. I consider Celta to be a dangerous side. They have quick players and are able to dominate games”, commented Osasuna manager Javi Gracia.
