Canales and Real Betis launch the final challenge of LaLiga's Ultimate Xpert 2020/21

The Seville outfit are in charge of concluding this successful initiative by LaLiga's international broadcasters in search of the world's leading expert on LaLiga Santander. Who will the last of the lucky winners be?

LaLiga's Ultimate Xpert is looking to top off the 2020/21 season by concluding the contests on a high note, with the crowning video-question about Los Verdiblancos posed by the player Sergio Canales.

Matchday 37 will feature the final challenge organised by the international broadcasters for fans of LaLiga Santander, asking them if they know which player has made the most appearances in a Real Betis shirt.

Over the course of this season, a total of 39 international broadcasters have formed part of this great global contest present in more than 100 countries, bringing LaLiga closer to its fans and subscribers of their channels matchday after matchday and revealing trivia about the teams which make up LaLiga Santander. And, of course, they have rewarded those who have proven themselves to be the leading experts on LaLiga with fantastic weekly prizes.

More than 135,000 people have taken part, showing that many of the networks' subscribers have taken the plunge and answered the contest's questions.

Below, we would like to take the opportunity to highlight some of the most original actions carried out by the international broadcasters to promote LaLiga's Ultimate Xpert.

  • Eleven Belgium and iQiyi China respectively designed a landing page and a mobile website with sections for the contest and exclusive content, as well as making it easier for their followers to take part by offering them a choice of four possible answers.
  • DAZN Germany created an Instagram stories highlight for their com platform showing the questions promoted each week. In each story, followers could choose from three possible answers, obtaining thousands of interactions with each question.
  • Astro Malaysia broadcast the questions for the contest live from its Astro Arena show via several platforms, streaming them on its YouTube channel and on its official Facebook page. In its posts, it asked followers to fill out a form via a QR code to take part in the contest.
  • Other networks such as Eleven Sports Portugal asked their followers to provide an original reason why they should win the contest, as well as providing the correct answer. One Israel encouraged its followers to reveal an interesting fact that only they knew about the club featured each week. Meanwhile, SportsMax Caribbean picked the weekly winners on its live SportsMax Zone show using a wheel of fortune.

We hope this initiative has helped spread the word about the best league in the world to every corner of the globe thanks to the collaboration of our international broadcasters.
