- A state of joy was decreed on the island some time ago. March and April were two months to remember. Quique Setien's men produced some top-notch football, allowing them to escape the relegation battle and start enjoying themselves. In spite of the defeat against Granada on the last matchday, it is all smiles in Las Palmas.
- One of the reasons that Las Palmas have done so well in recent weeks is due to their strength when playing at home. They have produced two victories and one draw in their last three games on home turf.

- After their victory over RC Celta on the last matchday, Ernesto Valverde's men will be keen to make it two wins on the bounce.
