Match Facts:
Barcelona (3rd, 9 pts):
- The Catalan giants atoned for their home reverse against D.Alaves with an emphatic away win over CD Leganes. Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez were all on the scoresheet as Luis Enrique's charges eased to their third victory of the LaLiga Santander campaign.
- Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of his side's meeting with the Rojiblancos, Enrique predicted that, "it'll be an exciting game". The second-placed Azulgranas prepare to welcome an Atletico side currently sitting fourth in what's one of the headline fixtures on the Matchday 5 calendar.
Atletico (5th, 8 pts):
- Diego Simeone's troops made a slow start to the season, picking up just two points from their opening two games. However, the Madrilenians have since gone on to record two triumphs and they head to the Camp Nou full of confidence.
- Atletico put five past R.Sporting last Saturday after Barça had earlier netted five against Leganes. Three of the division's four leading hitmen will be on show at the Camp Nou, as Antoine Griezmann, Messi and Suarez all bid to continue their fine early goalscoring form after having each notched four goals in their opening four games.
